Miranda Cosgrove was injured late last week when her tour bus was in an accident with a tractor trailer. The iCarly star was leaving Illinois and en route to a gig in Kansas when the tour bus came across the overturned and disabled semi. Cosgrove’s driver hit the brakes but was unable to avoid the other vehicle. Miranda broke her ankle, her mother was also injured along with two others. The bus driver was in the most serious condition and had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital where he received around 45 stitches.
Miranda was “really shaken up” by the incident. She is recovering and tweeted to fans on Friday, letting them know she’s doing all right.
The 18 year-old is reportedly telling friends that thanks to the bus driver’s decision not to swerve and (probably) overturn their bus, her life may have been saved. |
