In the upcoming episode, Carly (Cosgrove) returns home sick after a trip and discovers that One Direction has accepted an invitation to perform on their web show. Not long after arriving, bandmate Harry becomes sick and we see Carly doting over him.

There’s another special guest star in the episode too — Victoria Justice!

“On the iCarly set, they even gave me my own dressing room name tag 2 make me feel @ home :{),” she tweeted.

Sam wins a ticket to the Canadian Fat Cake factory with Spencer, Freddie and Gibby. They have an enjoyable time until their experience is jeopardized when Sam gets caught attempting to snuggle Fat Cakes across the border, leaving them in police custody. Meanwhile, Carly is getting ready for a date with a handsome guy, but gets her toe stuck in her bathtub's faucet. How can she find a way out of it?

Nickelodeon's iCarly scored the top entertainment telecast for the week (1/16-1/22/12) with a new episode titled "iToe Fat Cakes," (Saturday, Jan. 21 at 8p.m. ET/PT), drawing 4.8 million viewers (up +62% over last year's time period). The half-hour episode ranks as this week's number-one entertainment program with kid and tween demos, posting double and triple-digit gains and averaging a 7.1/2.5 million (+54%) K2-11, 9.4/2 million (+68%) K6-11, and 8.9/1.9 million (+128%) T9-14.

In the upcoming episode “iToe Fat Cakes,” an excited Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) is busy getting ready for a date, but she becomes trapped when her big toe gets stuck in the faucet.

Meanwhile, the gang surprises food-obsessed Sam with a trip to the Fat Cakes factory in Canada. Their return home gets complicated when Sam (Jennette McCurdy) tries to smuggle her favorite snacks over the border. Getting out of this situation will not be a piece of cake!

The 15-year-old star was joined by his iCarly cast mates — Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor — for a special iCarly screening for military families.

“Thank you to EVERYONE at the submarine base New London. A big thank you to all the men and women serving and defending our nation,” Noah tweeted after the visit.

First Lady Michelle Obama gets her groove on with the iCarly cast during a special screening of the hit show held at Hayfield Secondary School on Friday afternoon (January 13) in Alexandria, Virginia.

Miranda Cosgrove told Parade.com of the First Lady coming onto set: “Everyone on set was just really thrilled to get to have her on the show. We had Secret Service on set a week before she came because they had to come and check out the area. We went through a lot of different rules and learned a lot about what her life is like. It was really interesting. It was one of those things you never forget.”

After their appearance, the cast got a tour of the White House!

Nathan Kress tweeted, “Chilled with the First Lady, met the freshly groomed First Dog, and took a tour of the White House…. y’know, just your average day :)

“We all just got a tour of the White House! So amazing. What an epic ending to an already epic trip. These are memories I will never forget,” Noah Munck added.

Like the Olsens, Emma Watson and Natalie Portman before her, Miranda Cosgrove is putting her acting career on hold this fall to attend college. The “iCarly” star is all set to matriculate at the University of Southern California, and when she stopped by the MTV News offices this week to chat about Michelle Obama's guest appearance on her Nick show, she also revealed why she wanted to pursue her latest role as college co-ed.

“I’m really excited. I loved school. I went to school until fifth grade, and then I started doing home schooling, but I just loved everything about it,” she explained. “I loved being in the classroom and having friends and the whole school environment. So I’m excited to maybe live in a dorm and make new friends and have the college experience.”

Miranda will start classes later this year, and while many of her classmates may be “undeclared” for some time, Miranda has a pretty solid idea of what she plans to study. “Right now it’s going to be theater, but I feel like I might [study other things too]. One of the reasons I want to go so much is I kind of want to explore different things and make sure. You know I might want to do other things to.”

Though, for now, the 18-year-old fully intends to immerse herself and become a full-on theater nerd. Someone page the glee club! “I’m gonna start with theater because I really do love acting,” she said. “But I’m gonna maybe try some other stuff.”

In the episode “iMeet the First Lady,” Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and Spencer (Trainor) are excited that their dad is returning from active duty in time to celebrate his birthday and they begin planning a party to commemorate the occasion.

Unfortunately, Colonel Shay is deployed again and must cancel his trip home. Carly is devastated when she learns that she won’t be able to spend her dad’s birthday with him. To cheer Carly up, the gang surprises her during their next iCarly webcast by transmitting a live feed to Colonel Shay.

Having seen the webcast, Mrs. Obama is moved by what Sam (Jennette McCurdy), Freddie (Nathan Kress), and Gibby (Noah Munck) did for Carly and commends Carly for being such a strong and supportive daughter to a father in the service.
