Miranda Cosgrove updated her MySpace blog to wish all of her fans happy holidays!!

“I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays, in general,” the iCarly star writes. Miranda says that she loves the holidays and waits for Christmas every year.

“Recently I went to a tree lot to pick up my Christmas tree and I had a blast! I’m really picky about what tree I pick and it took me about three hours. I honestly think I looked at every last tree in the place lol. I think I got a good one, though. I played Christmas music and I decorated it with my friends. I didn’t even break any ornaments like usual, haha.”

Every year Miranda and her mom cook Christmas dinner and her family and one of her best friends come over. “I can’t wait for my mom to start cooking because she makes Cornish game hens, mashed potatoes, and really yummy stuffing. I always sample everything before it’s finished and she gets all upset, but I do it anyway lol. I try to help a little but I’m not really the best cook (I’m horrible at it even though I love watching the food network). I also complain a lot about how long it’s taking and I keep asking how much longer – so does my grandmother and I bet my dog wants to lol. Then we all sit down and eat (and eat and eat).”

Nickelodeon received an early holiday ratings gift Friday as its Merry Christmas Drake & Josh original movie drew 8.1 million total viewers, a network record for a live action film.

The movie, which re-untied long-running Drake & Josh series stars Drake Bell, Josh Peck and Miranda Cosgrove, beat out the 7.6 million viewers generated by Nick’s Nov. 8 iGo To Japan telepic which also starred Cosgrove and is based on her popular iCarly series, according to Nick.

The movie also drew a network record 4.3 million kids 2-11 and ranked as the No. 1 entertainment show on cable for the week of Dec. 1 to Dec. 7, topped only by the 8.8 million viewers that tuned into ESPN’s Dec. 1 Jacksonville Jaguars-Houston Texans Monday Night Football contest.

Merry Christmas Drake & Josh also ranks as the number-three entertainment telecast with total viewers on cable for the year-to-date, behind only Nick’s Feb. 18 Fairly Oddbaby animated movie (8.8 million viewers) and Disney Channel’s June 20 original movie Camp Rock (8.9 million.)

Young Hollywood and TVGuide.com sat down with the cast of iCarly to ask them questions about their hit series!

Miranda Cosgrove tells us the secret to the show’s success is acting crazy and doing whatever pops in their mind! “Just act silly and do whatever’s fun,” she says.

What is life on the set like? Miranda says that it’s a lot of fun and they all hang around.

Nathan Kress says the most important part to having a successful show is having a good technical producer, but of course Jennette McCurdy feels the actors are important too!

The very cool and environmentally-savvy stars of Nickelodeon, including Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress and KeKe Palmer, are going green. They, along with the network, are teaming up to promote The Big Green Help that will help raise awareness of small and easy ways for kids to be more green. Miranda Cosgrove is gleeful in green as she covers the new issue of USA Weekend.

The 15-year-old iCarly actress fills the weekend mag in on all things Christmas–from what goes on at her family’s annual holiday dinner to the gifts both she and her character are wishing for most this year. Here’s what she had to say:

On her character Carly’s Christmas List: “Carly always has the newest gadgets. She would definitely love the new iPhone.”

On her own wishlist: “I’ve been asking for another dog for years. But she’s [poodle dog Pearl] so jealous; she even hates it when I pet my cat. My mom is totally on her side, so she won’t let me get another dog.”

On the Cosgrove Christmas dinner: “Every year, my mom makes Cornish game hens and stuffing with corn bread and wild rice. The stuffing is awesome. It’s so good, I eat it while she’s making it.”
